Free Pattern

I've been working on a new Christmas Card Pattern and thought I'd add it here. If anyone would like to use it for their parchment or any other craft you are welcome to use it, please remember though, that this is still a copyrighted pattern and not to be used for commercial gain or added to any other sites.
If you make a card with it, I'd welcome any feedback here and would love to see a picture of it as well.

This is the link to another free pattern already up on our website. Comments welcome :)

Wightcat Crafts Blog

Wightcat Crafts Blog

On Saturday we had an "Altered Box" workshop....it was definately the best workshop so far, and we all came away very pleased with ourselves and with totally unique boxes. I always find myself leaving the workshops filled with inspiration and raring the get home and start another project!!
Our next workshop is going to be making an advent calender (I'm already booked in for that one!)

Recently we have been having many deliveries of crafty goodies...and you know what...we dont have room for it all...but gradually we are sneaking more in to the shop :D so keep your eyes peeled!

Scrapping workshops

Our monthly scrapbooking and cardmaking workshops are proving a huge success and I'd just like to share with you the sample pages from our last session. Paper and tools are provided, though everyone brings their own kits too, and the sample pages are a springboard for everyone to create their own ideas. It's great to see how everyone takes an idea and uses it differently and we have seen some fantastic layouts.

Our card makers are well looked after too, with card kits and samples for them to work with as well. Perhaps the most exciting aspect is seeing the crossover between cardmaking and scrapbooking. So many of the techniques can be used on both and I love seeing people realise this!

New Products & Trends

The trip to Holland gave us an insight into some of the new products that will be available soon.
We are already selling Rocailles Beads and mosaics in the shop and they will be added shortly to our website. We also have available the new ‘Clippit’ punches and the ‘Punch and Stitch’ punches which are proving extremely popular. An update on this news will be sent to you as soon as they are available on the website.

We were lucky enough to have Christine Coleman with us for 2 days last month. Workshops included Working with Pencils and Advanced Embossing; everyone had a wonderful time and pictures will be on our website very soon. Parchment Club

Thought I'd show a very easy tag/card that we made in our Parchment Club this week. Very easy to make with Pergmano printed vellum (cut & layered to give a 3D effect but difficult to see) and gold rub on's. The edge was perforated (but you could you use deckle edge scissors) and then mounted onto corrugated and gold mirri card.

By the way, if you are a keen Parchment Crafter, I've just finished adding all the latest Christine Coleman patterns to our website.

Glitter Glitter everywhere!

Well its been busy this morning with 3 deliveries (unusual for a Saturday).

We have now got the latest Christine Coleman's CD "Parchment with Flowers" which includes ideas from Joanna Sheen.
Also the Christmas Patterned Glitter card arrived today, after unpacking 4 boxes of Glitter card I look like I'm made up ready for a night clubbing. Boy doesn't that glitter get everywhere!

Hello!

Just thought I would pop in and say hello...thanks for inviting me to be part of the blog!
